What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LCP, or LSW) position at Day One Mental Health Services?
Day One Mental Health Services is an outpatient behavioral/mental health clinic that provides case management services through Comprehensive Community Services (CCS). Our providers support individuals with therapeutic and service facilitation services to support them in reaching their highest possible level of independent functioning. Providers focus on supporting our client's mental health in areas such as, but not limited to, education, employment, behavioral challenges and medication management.
At Day One Mental Health Services, our mental health teams make lasting changes in the lives of consumers residing in the Dane County community, as we set the standards of care in the industry.
In our organization, these professionals are placed in the position of Mental Health Professional to plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
The successful candidate should be able to perform ALL of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.
Providers are expected to produce 40 hours of billable services per week. The needs of our consumers may vary on a daily basis, so schedules for providers will vary often.
Essential Functions:
- Functions in a leadership capacity at the agency ensuring efficient seamless service delivery.
- Manages the CCS Service Delivery Department and their respective staff while assisting in overseeing CCS compliance and coordination.
- Coordinates the completion and compliance of required CCS consumer documentation including assessment, recovery plan, and billing notes.
- Ensures completion of CCS required certification, continuing education, and documentation of service facilitation and individual skill work.
- Coordinates and manages resources with community agencies and other healthcare providers on the clients team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ability to interact with consumers in a professional, empathetic, and confidential manner.
- Provides a collaborative, productive workplace environment while enriching the team environment.
- Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews with consumers.
- Provides treatment to consumers by developing, implementing and modifying individual treatment plans based on an evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
- Documents treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques by way of treatments and activities used for individuals in caseload.
- Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling and crisis interventions to address the needs of consumers.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Director.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or a degree in a related clinical area.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience which includes two (2) years in a comparable job position strongly urged but not required.
- Must possess appropriate certification or licensing in Wisconsin where practice occurs. (i.e., LPC, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LCP, and/or LSW)
- A valid driver's license is required unless required by contract or applicable statute.
- Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
