A well-established, privately owned dental practice in Hartford County is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager with 3-years dental management, to lead operations in a modern, high-tech, patient-focused environment. This is a key leadership role within a respected multi-provider practice known for clinical excellence and a premium patient experience.
The practice includes:
- 3 General Dentists
- 1 Periodontist
- 6 Hygienists
- Full clinical and administrative support team
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- 1-hour lunch
- Structured for a 4-day clinical work week model
About the Role
This leadership position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, strengthening team performance, and ensuring a seamless, high-end patient experience. The Office Manager works closely with providers and ownership to improve systems, efficiency, and overall practice performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee front office operations, including scheduling, insurance, and billing
- Lead and support clinical, administrative staff and their daily workflows
- Manage revenue cycle functions (claims, AR, collections)
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to office protocols
- Maintain and enhance patient experience and satisfaction
- Oversee supplies, vendors, and operational systems
- Improve scheduling efficiency and patient flow
- Utilize practice management software (Eaglesoft preferred)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of dental office management experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience in a multi-provider dental practice
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and compliance
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
