What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Aide position at Dawson Springs Health & Rehab a Concord Health Systems facility?
Job Duties:
- Performs any combination of following duties in care of residents under direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents’ needs.
- Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
- Serves and collect food trays and feeds residents requiring help after training.
- Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.
- Turns and repositions residents requiring physical assistance, alone or with assistance, to maintain good skin integrity.
- Changes bed linens, run errands, direct visitors, and answers telephone as needed.
- Food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
- Cleans, sterilizes, stores, prepares, and issues supplies as needed.
- Reports resident status to the nurse on duty and documents in the written medical record as required.
- May be assigned other duties.
Concord Health Systems shall not use any individual working in a facility as a nurse aide if within four (4) months the individual has not completed and passed the nurse aide training and competency testing. (Training provided, if qualified.)
Salary : $12
