A growing structural steel fabrication and installation company is seeking a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager in Rhome, TX to support exciting commercial and industrial steel installation projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager position include:
- 2-3 years of construction industry experience required, with previous field experience strongly preferred.
- Assist Project Managers in coordinating structural steel installation projects from fabrication completion through field execution.
- Communicate professionally with general contractors, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate project schedules, timelines, logistics, material deliveries, and installation activities.
- Track budgets, costs, project documentation, spreadsheets, reports, and project records.
- Monitor project progress and help resolve scheduling or operational issues.
- Conduct occasional job site visits to support project execution and gain field exposure.
- Experience with structural steel fabrication, installation, solar, wind, data centers, or large-scale construction projects is a plus.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
