Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) position include:
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license with 3 years of land surveying experience, managing boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
- Proficiency with surveying software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or Carlson, while preparing reports, plats, and legal descriptions
- Experience using GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors for accurate fieldwork
- Strong knowledge of boundary law, land records, and regulatory compliance, including reviewing and certifying survey documents
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with engineers, contractors, and clients
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and quality deliverables
- Willingness to travel to job sites and work in both field and office environments
- Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate within a small engineering team
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees, partial dental coverage, Colorado Secure Savings retirement program, paid vacation, and annual performance bonuses ranging from $5,000 to $20,000.
