What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, People Services position at DAVITA?
The People Services Specialist (PSS) provides coaching, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. The PSS is a Subject Matter Expert in training, onboarding, and development.
- This position is a key partner to Facility Administrators and reports into the People Services Manager. This role requires travel, working in facilities 3-4 times a week, with a remote work option once a week.
- You will work independently to create strategic business plans with mid-level leaders on various topics including team effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, hiring and onboarding, compensation and positive teammate relations.
- You will utilize coaching to elevate leadership to make an impact on the retention, engagement and stability of teams.
- You are responsible for planning and implementing multiple People Services projects and initiatives which impact the business; leads project strategy, timelines, milestones and communication plans to ensure project success with support of People Services Manager.
- You will partner with teammates and management to communicate various People Services policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
- You will analyze, advise and fully implement new People Services processes and procedures including creating SOP’s.
- You will strategically drive change management and adaptation and adherence to new processes. You will use discretion and experience to effectuate relevant policies that support the needs of the business.
- You will facilitate and/or provide training, including new teammate orientation, new leader orientation, performance management training, leave management, and onboarding/off boarding to the workforce.
