IT Audit Program Manager
The IT Audit Program Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of the IT Audit program. This role serves as a key liaison between the Internal Audit department, IT Security, and external regulatory bodies. The Program Manager leads complex audit projects, assesses technological risks, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (SOX, HIPAA, PCI), and drives the remediation of identified vulnerabilities. This position requires a balance of technical auditing expertise and project management skills to ensure audit plans are delivered on time and add value to the Village.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Audit Program Management & Execution:
- Lead the full lifecycle of IT audit projects including planning, scoping, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Manage resources and timelines to ensure the annual audit plan is executed effectively.
- Perform technical risk assessments to identify emerging IT risks.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of information technology general controls (ITGCs) and automated application controls.
- Communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to senior IT and business leadership.
- Prepare high-quality audit reports and executive summaries that clearly articulate issues and remediation plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulators.
- Coordinate evidence gathering and facilitate walkthroughs to support external audits (e.g., SOX, financial audits).
- Develop and maintain audit methodologies, templates, and tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of the audit process. Stay current on industry trends and security standards (NIST, COBIT, ISO).
- 6 to 8 years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, or Information Security.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field required.
