Role Description:
This is a part-time, on-site Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist role. The role involves greeting patients, managing check-in and hceck-out procedures, answering phones, and handling appointment scheduling in a profession and friendly manner. The position will maintain patient recors, collect nad process payments, and support basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing patient forms. Day-to-day responsibilities also include coordinating patient flow, confirming appointments, responding to inquiries about services, and assisting the chiropracto with non-cinical tasks that support smooth office operations. The role requires consistent punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and a calm demeanor in a busy front-desk environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and team members.
- Professional phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems.
- Appointment scheduling skills, including managing calenders and confirming or rescheduling visits.
- Experience with receptionist duties such as greeting, managing front-desk operations, and handling basic administrative tasks.
- Customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming, patient-centered environement.
- Basic computer proficiency, including use of scheduling software and electronic records; prior healthcare or chiropractic office experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
- This role also requires professional appearance at all times (scrubs, hair out of face and up)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical office administration or similar fields is preferred
- The position also requires being FLUENT in Spanish due to this clinic serving patients who are latino and English is not their first language.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
