Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Die Cast Die Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Tool & Die shop and/or die cast facility and possess mechanical knowledge to effectively assemble and troubleshoot Die Cast Dies.
Responsibilities
- Assemble die cast components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate various manual machines, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a die cast facility or a tool & die shop environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with die cast assembly processes and techniques is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting assembly issues.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in using manual machines, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
- Machine shop experience is beneficial for understanding manufacturing/assembly processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to achieving departmental goals.
