Classified position is announced to all applicants. Applications must be submitted no later than Monday, May 11, 2026. 5.9 hours per day/174 days per year /Salary Grade 3 $16.92 per hour (2025-26 Support Salary Table) (Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase for a promotion) NOTE: THIS POSITION IS FOR THE UPCOMING 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR. WILL BE WORKING IN THE SHORELINE JUNIOR HIGH CONNECTION CENTER. The assistant works under the direction of the Center Coordinator to meet the needs of the students and their families. Duties will include but are not limited to: Monitoring student behavior in the center. Keeping track of which students are in the center and for how long. Keeping the center stocked with snacks. Organizing clothing, hygiene items, food items, and snacks. Creating a safe space for students. Creating positive relationships with the students GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the principal, or other supervisor, the teacher assistant assists the teacher with the conduct of a class. The assistance takes a variety of forms, such as preparing class materials, correcting and recording assignments, and a wide variety of other services. QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: 1. High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience. 2. The equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree; or the ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional Test. 3. Interpersonal and communication skills. 4. Secretarial/clerical skills, including ability to operate a computer may be required. **Davis School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer**
