This job opportunity is a bona fide, F/T temporary position for 70 landscape laborer from 3/3/2026 to 11/13/2026 with Davis Landscape Ltd. 2340 Paxton Church Rd. , Harrisburg, PA 17110 239-268-6849
Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Sod and mulch laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, install & maintain sprinkler head systems. Qualified licensed workers may be eligible to drive company vehicles to and from the branch and/or various job sites. Must be able to work in hot and humid weather conditions and able to work on feet in bent, stooped or standing positions for long periods of time. Employees must wear sturdy, over-the-ankle work boots with a hard toe. Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
40 hours per week; 06:30 AM - 03:30 PM Mon--Fri; work extended daily hours and weekends when necessary.
Employer paid drug test and criminal background checks will be required if the worker is assigned to any company contract that requires it.
**3 month experience reqd/no education. 1 day(s) on the job training provided.**
**$19.17 per hour;$28.76/OT; Overtime is not guaranteed but if worked rate is paid at time and a half per hour above 40 hours per week. Raise/bonus at employer's discretion. Opportunity for higher pay based on experience/performance.**
Returning workers who received a performance-based increase in the previous season or prior may be paid a higher rate than above.
A single workweek will be used in computing the wage due. Payday is Weekly on Friday.
**The employer does not offer, provide, arrange, or assist with securing housing for U.S. or H-2B workers. Employees are responsible for obtaining their own housing at their own expense. If the employer becomes aware of available housing, seasonal full-time employees may voluntarily choose to reside there. In that situation, the employee is responsible for paying the property owner or managing entity directly. If the employee does not pay the provider directly, the employer may deduct up to $200 per week from the employee's pay for reasonable housing costs (including rent and utilities), depending on the number of occupants. The employer does not provide daily transportation for commuting to and from work. If transportation is made available, seasonal full-time employees may voluntarily choose to use it. In that situation, the employee must pay the transportation company or independent driver directly. If the employee does not pay the provider directly, the employer may deduct up to $75 per week from the employee's pay for reasonable transportation costs.**
**Deductions: all deductions required by law, cash advances and repayment of loans, repayment of overpayment of wages to the worker, payment for articles which the worker has voluntarily purchased from the employer, recovery of any loss to the employer due to the worker's damage (beyond normal wear and tear) or loss of equipment where it is shown that the worker is responsible, and any other reasonable deductions expressly authorized by the worker in writing. No deduction not required by law will be made that brings the workers hourly earnings below the FLSA Federal statutory minimum wage. If employee elects to purchase additional uniforms, there will be a weekly deduction for the employer to recover those costs only. Company provides 6 shirts and a hat.**
Employer provides transportation from central location to and from job sites. There is no itinerary involved as there are multiple locations in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, York, Adams, Lebanon, Berks, Franklin, Lancaster. 2nd Office Location: 10 North East Drive, Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033
Return transportation and daily subsistence paid or provided if worker completes employment period or is dismissed early by employer. Outbound transportation is paid/provided at most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation rates for distances involved, where applicable.
Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).
The employer provides at no charge all required tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job.

Inbound travel includes transportation costs from worker's permanent residence or place of recruitment to the place of employment, a daily subsistence for meals, and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Transportation reimbursements based on worker's actual cost, not to exceed the most economical common commercial carrier transportation costs for distances involved. The employer reserves right to assist in coordinating transportation. Workers who do not avail themselves of such available transportation will be reimbursed only the per worker cost of arranged transportation or most economical and reasonable common commercial carrier transportation cost for distances involved, whichever is less.
