Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including trimmers, blowers, and wheelbarrows safely and efficiently
- Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds
- Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, edging, and snow plowing during winter months
- Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Participate in tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and optimal performance
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
- Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
- Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree care practices
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
