Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Now expanding into Northern Kentucky, we’re seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our family-oriented team and deliver top-tier services.
Job Description
As a Service Manager at Davis H. Elliot, you will be required to oversee service and construction work in residential, commercial, and healthcare environments. Responsibilities for this position will include:
- Ensuring safe performance of the work.
- Effectively communicating with technicians, customers, engineers, and other employees.
- Developing new business and maintaining customer relationships.
- Assisting estimators on bids for new projects.
- Purchasing materials and contracting with subcontractors.
- Scheduling equipment, resources, and manpower for projects.
- Financial management of projects, including billing, change management, and cost projections.
- Developing team members at all levels of the organization.
- Construction document management.
Qualifications
- Passionate about the safety of fellow employees
- Engineering or construction management degree or equivalent experience in the construction industry
- 5 Years of experience recommended
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with NEC, NFPA 70E, and local codes
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
