Job Summary
Davis H. Elliot Company is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Financial Analyst with 2-4 years of professional experience to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Director of FP&A, supporting high-impact financial initiatives and strategic planning efforts across the organization. As a key contributor to our finance team, you will play a hands-on role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. You will gain exposure to executive-level decision making and have the opportunity to influence business outcomes through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to support forecasting and reporting processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis and commentary
- Assists in the development of financial models to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and cost-saving opportunities
- Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial data and insights
- Continuously improve reporting tools, processes, and financial systems to drive efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a financial analysis or related role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial modeling
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA certification
- Experience with OneStream, Hyperion, or other financial planning software
