Davies Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading insurance organization seeking a Property Claims Subrogation Unit Manager to lead and oversee a high‑performing, multi‑state subrogation operation. This role provides strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to maximize recovery outcomes across property claims.

What You’ll Do
- Provide oversight and strategic direction for all property claims subrogation activities, including identification, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, arbitration, and litigation
- Supervise subrogation staff and/or vendors, including TPAs, collection agencies, arbitration forums, and legal partners
- Develop, update, and enforce subrogation policies, procedures, and best practices
- Grant authority and provide technical guidance on liability evaluation, recovery strategy, and settlement negotiations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, subrogation best practices, and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report key subrogation metrics, including recovery ratios, cycle times, aging, arbitration outcomes, and litigation results
- Manage quality control and auditing of subrogation files to ensure timely pursuit and maximized recovery potential
- Coordinate catastrophe‑related subrogation efforts, including large‑loss and multi‑party recoveries
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with property claims units, underwriting, legal, finance, reinsurance, and external partners
- Serve as Corporate Representative in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, or court proceedings as required
Required Experience
- Active Florida or Texas Adjuster License (additional state licenses a plus)
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in property claims and/or subrogation management
- Strong operational‑level property and casualty claim handling experience
- Demonstrated expertise in the subrogation lifecycle, including liability analysis, comparative negligence, product liability, contract transfer, and arbitration
- Proven ability to evaluate large and complex recovery opportunities
- Experience managing litigation, arbitration, and recovery negotiations
- Prior field claim and management experience within an insurance carrier or large TPA environment
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, written, and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record
Preferred Experience
- Multi‑state experience, particularly FL, TX, and CA
- Experience coordinating reinsurance recoveries and reporting
- AIC and/or CPCU designation
- Florida 620 and/or Texas Adjuster License
Salary : $90,000 - $99,000
