Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. We have multiple commercial and industrial buildings in Cortland and Homer that we maintain and service. This position will do work in a variety of environments-you could be replacing ceiling tiles or painting walls inside a retail space one day and up on a roof clearing drains above a manufacturing company the next. There is lots of variety.
30 Hours per week, with a potential for full time in the future.

Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues (roll up doors, dock plates, etc)
- Electrical repair (replace bulbs, ballasts, outlets, switches, breakers, etc.)
- Operate measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately.
- Perform HVAC maintenance (replace filters, belts, etc)
- Plumbing repair (faucets, drains, supply lines, water heaters)
- Roofing (clear roof drains, identify source of leaks, basic repair)
- Carpentry (basic repair, trim work, door replacement)
- Patch/Paint (sheetrock repair, painting)
- Operate scissor lift and forklift at times to perform tasks
- Trash removal, basic janitorial at times
- Safe use of ladders
- Must have personal vehicle that can transport ladders, tools, trash, etc
Pay: $25.00 per hour
