Position Summary

Direct Support Professionals provide care and support for the adults with disabilities who live at David’s House. This includes personal care for some and friendship for all. DSP’s are there to support our residents in living life to the fullest! Minorities, women, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Education & Experience

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• DHMIN provides on the job training
  
  
  

COMPETENCIES

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a willingness to learn
• Ability to adapt to working on a team or alone
• Ability to remain calm in an emergency
• Must have a valid Michigan driver's license
  
  
  

HOURS & PAY

• All positions include working every other weekend
• Part-time hours, Mon-Fri 7:00 am until 12:30 pm
• Pay is based on experience, starting at $17.13/hr
• Shift premiums for 3rd shift and weekends
