USPS Contractor | NON CDL HCR Driver

Overview

Now hiring for Route driver. This position is a dedicated route Monday - Saturday.

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting US mail from USPS distribution centers to local post office stations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent safe driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. The Drivers will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Requirements

• 2 years verifiable experience operating straight truck or commercial motor vehicle.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• Pass USPS background screening.
• Valid drivers license.

Duties

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, for deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in route driving.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Route runs Monday - Saturday | Split shift 3AM to 6:30AM and 4PM to 7:00PM.
