Job Overview
Dave’s Tree Service is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Tree Groundsman Crew Member. This is a full-time, year-round position offering consistent work, professional training, and clear opportunities for advancement. Pay is based on experience and skill level, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus is available.
After 90 days of employment, team members become eligible for:

Basic Job Duties
- Assist with tree pruning, removals, and general tree maintenance while following all safety procedures
- Clean up and remove debris from job sites
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate large trucks and pull trailers when required
- Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug screening
Advanced Duties
- Assist with rigging and rope operations for pruning and removals
- Operate specialized equipment such as aerial lifts, mini skid steers, and grapple trucks
- Perform cutting, pruning, and felling techniques both on the ground and in the canopy
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in tree care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills within the company
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team
