Shift Leader

Shift Leader oversees all restaurant operations during their shift, focusing on guest satisfaction, team supervision, training new staff, ensuring policy adherence, managing cash, and maintaining cleanliness, while also working with management to execute the business plan and handle hands-on tasks like food prep, serving, and closing/opening duties in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Operations Oversight: Manage all restaurant activities during the shift, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and provide feedback to team members; delegate tasks and resolve issues; enforce company policies.
• Guest Service: Ensure exceptional guest experiences, greet guests, take orders, and serve food.
• Financials: Handle cash drawers, prepare deposits, and follow cash control guidelines.
• Food Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness, follow food safety standards, and manage inventory/costs.
• Administrative Duties: Complete required paperwork, checklists, and support opening/closing procedures.
• Training & Development: Follow and implement the DHC Training Program to train new and existing staff.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Prior food service or leadership experience often preferred.
• Age/Education: At least 18 years old, High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management.
• Flexibility: Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and opening/closing shifts.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50-75 lbs, and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
