Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda is hiring a personable and motivated Salespeople for both New Car Sales and Pre-Owned Car Sales. The Salesperson is responsible for selling vehicles while achieving and maintaining appropriate levels of gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.
Other duties include:
- Satisfying the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
- Selling and delivering a minimum of 10 units per month.
- Assisting customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Explaining product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
- Offering test drives to all prospects. Following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
- Establishing personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devising a strategy to meet those goals.
- Delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Introducing customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
- Maintaining an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business which contributes to customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a professional appearance.
- Maintaining a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
- This position requires frequent walking, standing, and sitting as well as working indoors and outdoors under varying climate conditions.
- At least one year of sales or vehicle sales experience.
- Courteous, effective, and professional communication with customers and staff is required.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay is commission. Average of $50,000. the first year but possibility of 80,000-$200,000 after experience and building of clientele.
