The Daughters of Charity provides a safe, welcoming home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity Ministries. We offer independent living, assisted living and memory care and our team plays a vital role in creating an environment where Sisters feel respected.

We are currently seeking a Life Enrichment Director to provide hands-on personal care and compassionate daily support to our Sisters. This role requires a balance of creativity, organization, and leadership, including supporting staff and holding expectations. This role will lead the planning and delivery of a person-centered life enrichment program that supports the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our Sisters.

• Design and lead engaging programs that support residents across independent, assisted and memory care
• Assess resident interests and adapt programming to meet evolving needs
• Supervise, coach, and develop Activity Assistants and Volunteers to ensure a high-quality, consistent program
• Provide hands-on leadership-balancing direct involvement with team development
• Coordinate community outings and transportation
• Partner with other departments to enhance the overall resident experience
• Utilize technology for scheduling, communication, and program planning
• Manage department budget, supplies, and resources

• Creative, energetic, and highly organized
• Comfortable leading and developing others; able to give direction, feedback, and support
• Comfortable using technology for communication, scheduling and program planning
• Strong communicator who can build relationships across departments
• Self-starter who takes initiative and brings new ideas forward
• Passion for working with older adults in a mission-driven environment

Schedule: Some weekends and holidays required

Physical Demands: Must be physically able to efficiently perform the duties of the position
