We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, integrations, asset lifecycle processes, and CMDB data quality initiatives. This role requires advanced scripting capability, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions with a focus on ITAM and CMDB modules.
- Develop and enhance advanced scripts including JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, XML, and other integration methods.
- Implement data transformation, normalization, reconciliation, and enrichment processes to ensure accurate asset and CMDB data.
- Manage asset lifecycle workflows, configuration management, and data governance initiatives.
- Support complex ETL processes within ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements for platform optimization.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (within 10 years overall technical experience).
- Strong expertise in ITAM and CMDB modules.
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- JavaScript
- Glide Scripting
- Business Rules, Script Includes
- Glide API
- Experience with ServiceNow REST APIs and integrations with third-party tools.
- Proficiency in data transformation, ETL, XML, and API-based integrations.
- Solid understanding of asset lifecycle management and configuration management principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven mindset.
