Essential Functions
- Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales to understand business processes, challenges, and IT needs.
- Facilitate process analysis, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.
- Work closely with IT teams and SMEs to ensure technical solutions reflect business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Participate in system design, data modeling, and interface design discussions.
- Oversee and actively participate in the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Lead development of test plans, test cases, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) per defined requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Super Users and IT Support to identify and troubleshoot process, data and system issues
- Partner with IT and vendors to resolve/document issues
- Support building cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions and project-level initiatives.
- Creation/ maintenance of detailed documentation, including business process flows, system specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
- Facilitate training and ongoing support to super-users in support of the adoption of new systems and processes.
- Liaison between business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Project management activities (scope, timeline, and resources) to ensure deliverables meet time/cost allocation
- Strong knowledge of ERP/ MES/ WMS solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio) and project management software.
- Work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills/ writing skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other relevant manufacturing software are a significant plus.
- Six Sigma and Lean principles. Green Belt is a strong plus.
- Business intelligence (BI) and reporting tools.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CSM).
