What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Prepper - First Shift, Monday - Friday position at Databank IMX?
DataBank is pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for a Document Prep technician to join our Production team. This position is for our First Shift and the hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30 pm. The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for ensuring that all documents are prepared with maximum quality, accuracy and speed according to job priority and specifications.

The role requirements for this position are to perform a variety of specialized prepping or general production duties as follows:
Prepping:
- Remove clips. Staples, rubber bands
- Affix numbers assigned to each page
- Organize assigned pages into logical documents and determine appropriate attachments
- Record or log date, time or other information requested
- Perform various functions relating to document conversion
- Retrieve and return documents to secure repository and maintain integrity and proper conditions of client materials
- Maintain page break formats, and the integrity and proper conditions of client material
- Review coded information to ensure accuracy to match contractual amounts
- May locate and record log numbers of documents containing errors
- May complete correction sheet
- May perform additional work related duties
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Receive both oral and written information in English
- High School Diploma or G.E.D Certificate preferred
- Sit in a stationary position for long periods of time
- Repeat motions involving fingers, hands, wrists, arms
- Reach laterally and vertically, up to 3 feet
- Ability to work in an open environment in close proximity to many other workers
Knowledge of:
- Correct English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Basic mathematics
Ability to:
- Read at a level sufficient to understand documents containing titles, codes, prose of various natures, including written instructions or mathematical figures
- Analyze selected subjective information and arrive at an appropriate conclusion
- Inspect and analyze selected subjective information to maintain quality standards in product
- Correctly and swiftly alphabetize or place in numerical order
- Develop proficiency at operating various cameras or scanners
- Maintain established production quotes and project standards
- Listen effectively and follow written or verbal instructions
- Maintain confidentiality in relation to documents or projects being serviced
- Operate and thrive in a changing environment
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted within the line of work
