We're excited to announce the opportunity for an OnBase Upgrade Technician to join our Professional Services Team in Lincoln, Nebraska! The OnBase Upgrade Technician is responsible for performing OnBase system upgrades as a customer facing professional service. OnBase is an enterprise business application that is broadly used for capturing, storing and managing business content. OnBase is highly customizable and often mission critical, and upgrading to recent versions helps our clients keep up on current technologies, keeps their data more secure, and allows them to enhance their solution with the latest enhancements. An Upgrade Technician will perform all technical tasks related to upgrading the client's OnBase system, including database schema upgrades, web and application server upgrades, and component upgrades. This is a technical role, but customer facing, and will require the ability to provide excellent customer service and work with a team, as well as the ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Performs OnBase system upgrades
• Able to balance multiple upgrade delivery priorities at one time
• Adheres to project plans, timelines and participate in client meetings
• Documents upgrade process steps and client specifics
• Adheres to infrastructure standards and patterns
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve issues
• Provides accurate and timely status reporting, as needed, including task and time reporting
• Constantly learns and improves technical knowledge and expertise
• Participates and contributes to all phases of company Upgrade Methodology
• Ability to Troubleshoot unexpected issue that arise during a system upgrade

Qualifications

• 2-year associates degree or equivalent technology experience
• Ability to obtain OnBase Installer Certification
• Customer service experience
• Excellent documentation, listening, and communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Software and information technology knowledge base
• Strong analysis and judgment skills
• Strong telephone presence and consulting skills
• Ability to work in team environment as well as independently

Requirements

• OnBase administration experience
• Knowledge of Windows Server OS and/or IIS
• Enterprise system installation and upgrade experience
• Understanding of networking
• Knowledge of SQL Server and\or Oracle database platform
• Knowledge of virtual environments
