Assembly Operator – Summer Seasonal (Potential Full-Time)
Dassel, MN Location
Position Summary
Assemble powder coated sheet‑metal components, fasteners, and misc. components into finished products per drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Assemble components and subassemblies using torque drivers, hand tools, drills and occasional battery powered rivet guns.
· Read/interpret work instructions, drawings and BOMs; stage components and hardware for tasks.
· Inspect fit/alignment and cosmetic quality during/after assembly.
· Label/package completed parts appropriately.
· Maintain a clean, organized workstation, communicate quality/part issues to supervision.
· Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
· Able to complete tasks independently.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; previous assembly experience preferred.
· Ability to read technical instructions; basic knowledge of mechanical fasteners and hand tools.
· Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel.
· ERP familiarity a plus; strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
· Stand/sit/move for extended periods; lift/position parts up to 40 lbs.
· Work in shop environment with repetitive motion and tool use; wear PPE as required.
Tools and Equipment
· Hand/power tools (screwdrivers, ratchets, drills, rivet guns, torque drivers)
· Computer/Label printers
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
