Shop Assembly

Job Description:

DH Docks is looking to hire a Shop Assembler who will work with the production and assembly of DH Aluminum Frame Docks, our Shore Tracker system, Pier Pleasure Boat Lifts, and a wide variety of other products at the shop site location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Shop Assembly workers must fulfill a variety of roles ranging from customer service to extended days of physical labor, duties are not limited to the list below.

• Follow technical instructions
• Discern quality of parts and material used in production
• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process
• Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy equipment
• Ensure orders are accurate and filled completely
• Maintain the tools used to create products
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workplace
• Repeated heavy lifting and carrying, up to 50 lbs.
• Power tool operation (screw gun, drill press, handheld grinder, band saw, electric/air impact driver, etc.)
• Forklift operation
• Stacking material up to 7ft
• On your feet for extended periods of time
• Working in both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform other related duties as require and assigned

Requirements:

• Valid MN Drivers License
• Must pass background check
• Strong verbal communication skills
• positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Will have knowledge of the products we sell and has a passion for lakeside living. Enjoys working on a team to help meet the needs of the orders from our customers. Is also dependable and able to preform job duties independently when needed.
