Responsibilities

• Process and verify all incoming invoices using 3-way match method, ensuring accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approval, and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and records.
• Prepare bi-weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies promptly and maintain positive relationships.
• Support the administrative team with additional projects as needed.

Skills

• 1 years of accounting experience.
• Effective computer skills (Microsoft Applications).
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating strong numeracy and math skills.
• Effective communication skills for customer service interactions with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environment.
• High degree of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good team player attitude.
• Ability to focus on detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Willingness to handle other duties not directly related to the accounts payable function.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 49.0 per week
