Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: In-person in Newington, CT

SUMMARY
Responsible for the minor setup adjustments, quality checks and operation of envelope machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform minor setup on machines in a timely manner. Clean the machine prior to setup.
- Make minor adjustments/ corrections to ensure dimensions and quality of piece; monitor production.
- Perform cutting operations; make necessary minor adjustments.
- Perform folder operations and operate folder.
- Perform quality checks per work instructions.
- Hand-gather finished work and pack as necessary.
- Perform other department operations as required.
- Keep the immediate work area neat and orderly.
- Comply with company rules and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
- Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve the operating efficiency of the department.
- Keep the manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.
- Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
COMPETENCIES
- Thorough understanding of envelope manufacturing equipment setup and operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor machine repairs.
- Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and product quality.
- Good math skills
- Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to the workstation
- Demonstrates a positive safety attitude
