Position Summary:
Inspector ensures products meet quality standards by examining components and processes at various manufacturing stages, using various measuring tools including microscopes, and interpreting technical drawings to identify defects and ensure compliance. They work closely with production teams, document inspection findings in reports using computer programs, maintain a safe work environment, and recommend process adjustments to uphold quality and efficiency.

Key Position Accountabilities:
- Inspect: Conduct visual and measurement tests on products and components as they move through the production process.
- Verify Specifications: Ensure parts and assemblies conform to required specifications, blueprints, and customer standards.
- Identify Defects: Uncover defects or deviations from standards and provide feedback to production to make necessary adjustments.
- Use Measuring Tools: Operate various tools like calipers, gauges, micrometers, and microscopes to verify dimensions and specifications.
- Use Computer Programs: Input and manage inspection data using relevant computer software for reporting, tracking, and analysis purposes.
- Interpret Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other specifications to ensure compliance.
- Document Findings: Record and update inspection results in reports and logs for documentation and quality tracking.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Monitor and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work cooperatively with production and other teams to maintain flow and address quality issues.
- Ensure Safety: Follow safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- High School diploma or vocational training
- Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience
- Must be able to lift up 20lbs
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blue prints and schematics
- Ability to select and use various measuring devices and tools accurately
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with production
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve quality goals
