What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior IT Project Manager (Part Time) position at Data Concepts?
This position is 20 hours a week until March 2027 and requires one day a week onsite in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities
- Project management activities include but are not limited to; leading team members through process mapping and requirements gathering, serving as the day-to-day point of contact for the project and overseeing the various system implementation phases and processes, overseeing acceptable user acceptance testing, certifying that the solution is ready for deployment and is fully implemented as planned.
- The Project Manager will also be responsible for change management, overall vendor management and project closeout.
Qualifications
- Strong background in planning, executing, and managing cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects
- Strong ability to analyze complex problems, organize priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure
- Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new approaches, systems, and methodologies
- Extensive experience guiding business and IT stakeholders through discovery and documentation of business
- Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall principles, with hands-on experience running Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
- Skilled in collaborating with vendors and overseeing successful implementation of vendor solutions
- Active PMP® certification from PMI.
