The Role
Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with your hands in a process-driven environment? Do you take pride in ensuring mail and statement processing is accurate, timely, and efficient? If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Statement Specialist team!
In this role, you’ll assist with statement rendering, folding, inserting, and outgoing mail preparation to support DCI’s multi-bank operations. You’ll work with both software and equipment to ensure client documents are processed accurately and meet postal regulations.

What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include:
Mail Preparation and Distribution
- Sort, weigh, and post mail items per postal requirements.
- Operate mail equipment, including inserting and folding machines.
- Apply postage to envelopes using a postage meter.
- Place posted mail in designated trays and prepare for postal pickup.
- Assist in delivering and unloading mail to the post office as needed.
- Help unload and stock envelope deliveries and other mailing supplies.
Statement Processing
- Prepare, fold, and stuff bank statements using folding and inserting equipment.
- Operate office machines and assist with form packaging as needed.
General Backroom Services Support
- Maintain work schedules and quality standards established by DCI’s Backroom Services department.
- Report any issues to supervisors and help with resolution.
- Participate in ongoing quality control efforts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Other Duties
- Provide backup support for other Backroom Services responsibilities as needed.
- Keep all personal and shared work areas clean, neat, and organized.
- Prepare overdraft/NSF notices and other special mailings
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and end-of-shift cleanup
- Support process improvements and month-end production schedules
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong visual error detection skills.
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Neat, legible handwriting and strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational abilities.
- Reliable, consistent attendance.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25–40 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
- Dexterity and strength in both hands, arms, and shoulders.
- Good vision.

A Day in the Life
You begin your shift preparing trays and envelopes for statement runs, then operate the inserting machine to fold and stuff client documents. Throughout the day, you ensure accuracy, prep outgoing mail, and assist in delivering it to the post office. You wrap up with a quality check and leave knowing everything is processed and on time.
