Position Summary

We have an immediate need for a 2 month assignment as a Temporary Junior Accounts Payable Specialist supports the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team by assisting with invoice processing, data entry, and employee expense reporting. This short‑term role is ideal for someone early in their accounting or finance career who is looking to gain hands‑on experience and build foundational AP skills. The position requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter invoices into the AP system in a timely manner.
• Assist with reviewing and processing employee travel and expense submissions.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical AP documentation.
• Communicate with internal partners or vendors to resolve basic invoice or payment questions.
• Use SAP to support invoice processing and workflow tracking (training provided).
• Prepare simple Excel spreadsheets and update tracking logs as needed.
• Use Outlook and Microsoft Teams for communication and task coordination.
• Support AP team members with additional tasks, including month‑end close activities.

Education

• Associate of Arts (AA) in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• or relevant coursework or equivalent Accounts Payable experience.

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic experience in accounts payable, data entry, or administrative support (internship or part‑time experience welcome).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Exposure to SAP is a plus but not required—training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment and collaborate with others.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast‑paced setting.

The compensation for this position typically falls between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour.

This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus, shift differential or relocation assistance. This position is eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
