What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sous Chef position at Dash's Market?
Dash’s Market is looking for applicants to fill a full time SOUS CHEF position.
Working as a sous chef in our store would include, but not be limited to:
-Preparing food to meet the specifications of guests in a timely manner
-Working effectively with the Executive Chef to promote a healthy work environment
-Using knives and other kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers and warmers in food preparation
-Ensuring staff adheres to set standards
-Keeping workstations and equipment clean and organized

REQUIREMENTS
- Exceptional cooking skills, some Culinary schooling is preferred
- Ability to manager kitchen staff, motivate them and assign duties fairly
- Knowledge of health & safety standards
- Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure
- Attention to detail- great organizational skills
- Good verbal & communication skills
- Open availability- including weekends
