What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live Stream Host / Live Selling Host – Paid Training, Flexible Evening Hours (Newark, DE) position at Dash Distributions LLC?
Love to talk? Get paid to be the fun, energetic face of a live show, and grow with a growing business.
We sell products live on TikTok and Whatnot, and we’re a growing business looking for outgoing part-time Live Stream Hosts to join our team and grow with us. You’ll run our live auctions in a simple, fast-paced, fun role. Most of what you say appears on a screen in front of you. Students are welcome, and it’s a great fit if you want a flexible second job.
What you’ll do
- Host live selling auctions on camera
- Welcome and engage viewers in the chat and keep the energy up
- Read product details and prompts from an on-screen script. You won’t need to memorize anything.
- Call out items, run auctions, and react to what’s happening live
What you’ll get
- Paid training. Start with 1–2 paid trial streams (1–3 hours each) to see if you like the job before you commit and you are a good fit for us.
- Sign-on bonus once you meet a few simple requirements, such as minimum hours worked.
- Performance bonuses for exceptional results.
- Flexible hours. Mostly afternoon and evening shifts, with evenings preferred and weekends available. Timing can change, so tell us when you’re free and we’ll build your schedule around it.
- Room to grow. Start with a few hours, then build up to longer streams and more hours, up to 4 hours per day, if you want them.
- A growing team. We’re expanding, and we want team members who want to grow with us.
- Short drive from UD and Christiana Mall.
What we’re looking for
- Confident speaking and interacting with viewers on a live stream
- Great personality, with energy and charisma on camera!
- Fluent English
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (not required)
- Students welcome
- Reliable and on time for your scheduled streams
- Able to commute and work on site at 38 Albe Drive, Newark, DE, 19702 (requirement)
How to apply
Apply on Indeed. In your message, tell us one thing you could talk about for an hour without running out of things to say. If you have a link to a video of yourself talking, send it. It’s optional but helps.
