Position Summary
The Financial Analyst, FP&A & Strategic Finance will serve as DASH car wash’s primary financial planning and analysis resource, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, operational analytics and executive reporting. The role partners closely with the CEO, Controller, and department leaders to provide actionable insights that improve profitability, operational performance and enterprise value creation.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with an operational mindset and enjoys transforming large data sets into meaningful business insights. This individual will play a key role in building scalable reporting processes and financial systems as Dash continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial analysis on critical strategic initiatives and communicate findings directly to the executive team
- Support acquisition and investment analyses through financial modeling, return calculations, and scenario analysis.
- Lead annual budgeting processes, maintain rolling forecasts, and support long-range financial planning.
- Conduct market, industry and competitive research and present actional insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Maintain and enhance weekly and monthly KPI reporting across all operating locations.
- Analyze site-level performance, labor productivity, membership trends, churn, pricing and profitability metrics.
- Develop scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision making.
- Generate sales projections for new sites using a proprietary predictive model
- Develop ad hoc financial models and analyses in support of strategic growth initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors’ materials, executive presentations and investor reporting packages.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Consulting, Investment Banking or related analytical roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance (or equivalent in related fields).
- Proven experience building financial models, budgets, forecasts, and operational analytics.
- Experience preparing executive leadership and board-level reporting preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced functions and formulas
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools and systems (e.g., PowerBI, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change in a fast-paced environment.
