The Section of Ophthalmology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH is seeking two Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with RNFA-certification to serve the needs of our robust and established practice. In this role, you will work closely with our highly skilled ophthalmologists, optometrist, technicians, and residents to optimize patient care and outcomes. You will work collaboratively in the outpatient setting to facilitate clinic visits and post-operative consults, perform H&Ps for surgical preparation, perform minor procedures and IV injections, and first-assist in the OR. This position will support the team in comprehensive ophthalmology care, though the opportunity to develop into a subspecialty is available.
This position offers the opportunity for on-the-job training to develop your skills and knowledge in ophthalmological care. The ideal candidate will have experience in ophthalmology or an interest to learn.
This is a full-time day shift position with no night or weekend call requirement. Highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
- National specialty certification as RNFA or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
- Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification
