The Mammography department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH has two clinical areas, screening and diagnostics. The Breast Imaging division is a component of the Comprehensive Breast Care Program (CBCP) at DHMC. The Breast Imaging division also performs Dxa exams. For this position, we are seeking a full-time Dexa Technologist who will rotate through mammography in order to maintain MQSA mandated requirements.
We are seeking a full-time DXA/Mammography Technologist to join the team to perform Dxa exams as well as breast imaging exams. Dxa experience preferred but not required.
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week benefitted day-shift position.

Vision
- Performs routine and complex breast imaging and examination procedures following departmental guidelines. Performs Dxa exams.
- Performs required quality assurance procedures at the designated intervals.
- Instructs and reviews technical performance of diagnostic technologists. Instructs patients in breast self-examinations.
- Consistently ensure good patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
- Utilizes e-DH, RIS, and PACS to perform job functions.
- Maintain a second Mammography registry as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards.
- Maintain an ISCD certification for Dxa.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- 1 year of clinical Mammography experience required.
- Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited program; based on ARRT guidelines.
- Radiographer NH OR Radiation Therapist NH OR Medical Imaging/Rad Ther - NH
- BLS within 30 days
- Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (RT - R) and Radiologic Technologist - Mammography (RT - M) within 730 days
- Radiologic Technologist - Bone Densitometry (RT-BD) and Radiologic Technologist - Breast Sonography (RT- BS) preferred Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) or Certified Clinical Densitometry (CCD) from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) preferred
