- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience teaching the fitness discipline for that class
- Knowledge of the fitness discipline taught in the class and must exhibit the skills needed to lead a successful class

- Take attendance and turn in to the office at the end of the term
- Lead fitness components of the class
- Answer questions from class participants
- Communicate class needs to Fitness Director
- Attend instructor meetings when scheduled
- Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
- Performs other duties as assigned
