This is a full-time, on-site role located in our Miami, FL office. The Litigation Associate will contribute to a wide range of responsibilities that include performing legal research, drafting motions, handling depositions, and representing clients in court proceedings. This role collaborates closely with the broader legal team to support the firm's Business Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice. The Litigation Associate will also be expected to meet deadlines, interact effectively with clients, and maintain a high standard of professionalism in their work.
- Proficiency in legal principles, research, and application of law
- Experience drafting and filing legal motions
- Skills in managing depositions and pre-trial discovery
- Familiarity and experience with court proceedings and litigation strategies
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Bar admission and good standing in Florida
- Prior experience in business litigation is preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively
