Summary
Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile and sort documents such as invoices, checks, tax exemption certificates, and lien waivers.
- Substantiating business transactions
- Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
- Process credit and debit memos for invoice corrections as needed.
- Investigate problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills.
- Code data for input to a financial data processing system according to company procedures.
- Assist employees, vendors, clients, and/or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.
- Understanding of Applicable sales tax guidelines for Arkansas and surrounding states a plus.

Qualifications:Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; OR six months to one-year related experience and training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully to all customers in both written and verbal forms.
- Sales tax knowledge and understanding for Arkansas and surrounding states a plus
- Excellent working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft products Excel, Word, and Office 365
