Job Summary: The ELD Teacher is responsible for providing targeted English language instruction to students identified as English Learners (ELs). This role focuses on developing students’ proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English while supporting access to grade-level academic content. The ELD Teacher collaborates with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students meet state standards and achieve academic success.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred Valid teaching credential (Single Subject English or Multiple Subject) English Learner Authorization (e.g., CLAD, BCLAD, or equivalent) Mandatory School Employee trainings TB Test results - Must be within the last 6 months Fingerprinted through SDCOE
