Dishwasher/Server

**Job Overview** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Server to join our culinary team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while supporting cafe operations. This role requires a passion for food preparation, hospitality, and teamwork. Typical hours are Wednesday - Saturday 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM with a minimum of one weekend and one evening shift (5:30 - 8:30 PM every other week) **Responsibilities** - Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and tools. - Assist cooks with food preparation and plating. - Bus tables and clean up dining areas after meals. - Ensure proper food handling and storage practices. - Support the culinary team during meal service, including expediting, plating and serving dishes. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards. - Collaborate with other staff to ensure seamless service. - Participate in daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. **Skills** - Strong understanding of food handling and preparation techniques. - Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment. - Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others. - Basic culinary skills, including cooking and food preparation. - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and equipment. - Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, and weekends. Cafe is open Tuesday - Saturday. Closed Sunday & Monday and most holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $11.00 per hour
