We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our dynamic team! This energetic role involves delivering exceptional client service, managing appointments, and supporting our veterinary staff. - Greet clients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow with veterinary staff
- Handle medical collections accurately and securely
- Maintain detailed records of pet care, treatments, and client interactions
- Assist with kennel management and animal husbandry tasks as needed
- Support veterinary critical care procedures by preparing supplies and documentation
- Communicate effectively using veterinary terminology to ensure clarity for clients and team members
- Proven experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar client-facing role within a veterinary setting
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal handling, restraint techniques, and pet care procedures
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures, aseptic techniques, and animal catheterization is a plus
- Ability to handle animals confidently, including dog training and grooming skills preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for medical collection and record-keeping
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, pet grooming, and equine experience is advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills to explain treatments clearly and support pet owners effectively
