Overview:

The Automation Specialist is responsible for the installation, programming, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automation equipment supporting upstream oil & gas operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair a wide range of automation and electrical equipment supporting upstream onshore oil & gas operations
• Provide on-site automation support for producing assets
• Serve as a technical resource for:
• Facility control systems
• Field instrumentation (level, pressure, flow, vibration, etc.)
• Execute maintenance activities in compliance with corporate and industry Process Control standards
• Follow PLC programming standards, best practices, and MOC procedures
• Identify instrumentation and control system problem areas and recommend improvement opportunities
• Utilize CMMS systems (e.g., SAP) to support maintenance operations

Qualifications:

• 3 years' experience of Oil and Gas Automation Specialist experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of well RTU design, programming, and troubleshooting experience required.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Rosemount highly preferred.
• Ability to work12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation.
• Ability to travel to unassigned job locations as needed.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test (Hair follicle), MVR check, fit for duty and agility.
