What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Lease Operator position at Danos, LLC?
Overview
Maintaining assigned leases during the night operations. Understanding flow path, troubleshooting /fixing equipment alarms. Multitasking between issues and working with shift team to solve issues and keep production online. One must be able to diagnose issues through remote surveillance tools and have a plan of action to prior to arriving on location. Must be a self starter with limited oversight.
Responsibilities
- Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her areas of responsibility, maintaining detailed notes of events during the shift with a special emphasis must be placed on health, safety, and the environment
- Supports and encourages team effort between shift coworkers.
- Provides input and reviews the control specifications and work practices.
- Has the knowledge to apply and follow work permits through Permit To Work System (PTWS) as discussed in the Work Management Manual.
- Develops personal and team technical skills (for example, new regulations, equipment, methods, and others).
Qualifications
- 4 years of Lease Operator experience required.
- Must live within a 45 mile radius of Midland/Midkiff, TX. Housing is not offered.
- Familiar with flow path, and all general oil and gas facilities operations.
- Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements associated with this position as documented in the company operations-approved training roadmap.
- Competent with Microsoft Office, Email educate, Navigating computer surveillance tools.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
- Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
