Employment Counsel - (US & LATAM)
New York based (Hybrid)
A leading international financial institution is seeking a senior Employment Counsel to join its Legal team.
This is a broad, business-facing role with responsibility for advising across the US and parts of LATAM, supporting a multi-state employee population. The position combines day-to-day advisory, strategic projects, and oversight of employment litigation, with strong exposure to senior stakeholders.
You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to the business, helping to manage legal and reputational risk, shape policy, and guide complex employment matters across jurisdictions. The role offers genuine autonomy and visibility, with scope to influence how employment issues are approached regionally.
Key Requirements
- US-qualified attorney (NY or NJ Bar preferred)
- Solid experience in employment law (advisory and contentious)
- Commercial, pragmatic approach with strong stakeholder skills
- In-house experience helpful but not essential
