Responsibilities Include
The annual salary range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. The final annual salary offered will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to the offered salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) with matching and profit-sharing options; sick and vacation time, along with paid holidays. Responsibilities Include
- Work with financing teams on deal structure and public finance transactions, including all facets of bond issuance
- Draft bond purchase and underwriting agreements
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax and municipal law issues
- Interface directly with clients, financial advisors, investment bankers, rating agencies and other deal-team representatives
- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to learn about and work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities in public finance matters
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated success working as a team player in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to work independently
- Admission to the California State Bar
- Prior experience in public finance, transactional, and/or real estate law
- Experience working with bond and finance transactions and restructurings, as well as financing teams
- Experience drafting and reviewing contracts and conducting due diligence
- Education law experience a plus
