Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations and assign tasks to meet production schedules.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop production employees to achieve team goals.
- Coordinate with other department supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration.
- Support and implement lean manufacturing practices, including 5S initiatives.
- Ensure all work meets quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Verify completion of required in-process inspections and documentation.
- Monitor production performance, inventory levels, and material availability to prevent delays.
- Enforce safety policies, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- Conduct safety talks and routine safety inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting, particularly with 12-volt automotive electrical systems.
- Communicate equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely resolution.
- Review timesheets, manage time-off requests, and assist with employee performance evaluations.
- Report production status and any issues to the Production Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
